Located in the heart of old town Bangkok just a 10-minute walk from the lively Khao San Road, Mint Hostel offers dormitory rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi in all areas.

The dormitory rooms offers access to a shared bathroom. Each bed comes with it's own personal reading light and electrical socket as well as a locker.

Bad experience

I meet nice people

Waited 10 min at the reception.. Told me they gaved me a room in the hostel next by..own by the same hostel.. absolutely not the same room..looked totally gross, if you compare it with what you where expecting..8 in a small room.. couldn't even open the door completely..the sheet where so smalllll couldn't even cover my entire body. The locker are so small you can't put your bag..you need to empty it and only put few things in it

Good for budget traveling

Great, quiet location. Friendly staff, free drinking water

Showers are basically in the main lobby, bathrooms aren't kept up to the highest standards... don't forget your sandals. Tight dorm rooms, with small, hard beds.

What would you highlight about Mint Hostel

Location is good and the breakfast is nice. That´s all.

The rooms are small and not very comfortable. The owner is not welcoming and cares about nothing. The hostel and especially the public area is way too small for the huge number of people staying there. This was one of the worst hostels I´ve been so far.

The location was good though and the staff was decent

The toilets weren't very clean and always extremely smelly. The hostel doesn't really look like on the pictures. The breakfast was bananas with toast and one cheap not so good spread.

Good :)

The bed is comfortable, rooms and common area are clean. The breakfast included is simple but ok, tea or coffee available anytime. Good option for a few days if you are travelling with a budget.

The hostel is small and usually full of people in high season, so if you stay for a long time maybe you are going to miss a more spacious and comfortable common area. Breakfast is only avaliable from 9 to 11, so if you are a hungry early bird you need to wait until that time.

Cheap but clean and well kept

Cheap, lots of info on tours and onward travel if you need it. Towel and hot water for coffee provided

Very busy, crowded and felt crampt at times. Rooms very hot but that's partly just because it's Bangkok. Breakfast wasn't served until 9am, which is far too late if you actually want to get up and go see the city.

It's acceptable for this price, ideal for solo travellers too because you can make friends easily.

breakfast is basic but at least there is something, for this price it's totally okay. the bed is comfortable, not that hard, you have a curtain too.

we got room on the 3rd floor, the shower is on the ground floor and we had to go down one floor for toilet too.

The hostel is close enough to Khaosan Road, but far enough...

The hostel is close enough to Khaosan Road, but far enough to have some peace. I think that was the best thing about the place. We stayed in the 6 beds dorm room with AC, our roommates were really nice, as were the majority of the guests there. There was a very chill vibe, the showers and the toilets weren’t too bad (you get what you pay for). The staff was very friendly and helpful too!

The beds were really hard. I can sleep anywhere so for me it wasn’t that big of a deal, but for my boyfriend it was basically impossible to sleep.

Just no.

At least the shower was warm.

Room absolutely stinks. Clearly the blanket had not been washed for months (honestly ) the fan was broken and noisy and the aircon machine was so innefective. Paid for my room and they didn't even have any change so I had to over pay, only by 3 baht but how unprofessional is this . From years of traveling this is by far the worst accomodation I've had. I wouldn't usually leave such a review and you can see this by looking at my prior reviews but people need to know.

What would you highlight about Mint Hostel

Alright for a short stay

Free breakfast and location is quite good, if you want to be near Khao San Road. We could leave our luggage after check-out.

Rather dirty bathrooms and only cold showers. Rooms are pretty small. Although breakfast is free it's only from 9 to 11am. As the community room is open to the road, there are quite a lot mosquitos coming in.
